Our story
Amara Trails plans first safaris the way we would for a friend: reading the season, saying the price out loud, and staying reachable while you travel.
Our name
The hard part of a first safari is rarely the animals. It is knowing when to go, which season, which camp, and whether you have judged it well. Amara Trails exists to make that decision clear, so the trip feels like one you understood and chose.
Kenya is home to us, and we read the season the way you would for family: telling you plainly when to travel, what it costs, and who stays with you from the first question to the last morning in the Mara.

Being on both sides of the ocean means you can plan in your own time zone, with people who understand long-haul questions, family logistics, and the need for clear answers. In Kenya, the work continues through local coordination, route knowledge, and in-trip care.

What guides us
Before we suggest a single camp or a single road, we want to know who is travelling, how you like to move, and what you are hoping Kenya will leave you with. The route grows out of those answers. Then we take care of the rest.

Tell us what you are imagining, even if the idea is still early. We will help make the choices clear.
